Language Arts Teacher (High School)

Grace Christian School (GCS) is seeking a passionate and resourceful full-time language arts teacher for our English/Honors English (9 & 10), and English, Honors English & AP English (11 & 12) classes within our high school.

Successful candidates will teach a rigorous academic Language Arts course in a manner that
demonstrates expertise and humility and equips students to tear down strongholds while learning how to
more fully understand God’s revealed Word. The candidate will prayerfully help students learn
attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and
responsible Christians whom God can use to have a transformative kingdom-building impact upon their
communities and the world. Additionally, they will have the ability to inspire & guide students into a
deeper understanding about their being created in the image of God and thus having inherent
communicative and creative capacities even as they enhance their language skills, discernment, and
reasoning.

Fundamental Qualifications:
1. Be a professing Christian who is active in a local church,
2. Obtained a bachelor’s degree in an associated field or be an individual with requisite work experience,
3. Possess strong communication (written and verbal), people, organizational, and technological skills.
