Welcome
Welcome to the Letters From the Field Blog. Thank you for joining our fellowship. With the onslaught of cultural agendas, toxic school politics, and “my truth” motivations waging a battle for supremacy even in Christian education, the blessing of teaching is growing increasingly burdensome. Sometimes, all of our best efforts and sacrifices seem futile.
Yet, there remains the greatest hope and guide.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
The words and stories shared in the coming days will cultivate a deep sense of community and an even greater understanding and affinity for the freedom and hope an ever-growing Biblical Worldview affords. Just as Paul’s letters encouraged and admonished believers to stay the course, Letters From the Field are penned to strengthen Christian educators’ resolve to capture young hearts and minds for the glory of the Lord. Christian educator, whether you are sacrificing for and sowing courageously into youths online, in a classroom, or at a kitchen table, the harvest you reap matters and transcends generations.
Therefore my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (Paul’s Letter to the Church in Corinth)
Grace be with you,
